a little about me - i'm a 44-year-old woman, i'm 5'5" and i weighed about 280lbs when i started using ozempic. my doctor has been trying to help me lose some weight for ages, but nothing seemed to stick, you know? i've always had a thing for food, always snacking and thinking about the next meal.

then my doctor recommended ozempic, starting with a 0.25mg dose every week. and honestly, it seemed to work wonders at first. i wasn't craving snacks all the time, and i even found myself eating smaller portions at meal times. in the first two months, i was down 20lbs, which felt amazing.

but things took a turn when the dose was upped to 0.5mg each week. i started feeling really nauseous almost every day, and it was tough to even keep water down. and my stomach, it was like it was in knots all the time.

what really got to me though was the change in my mood. i became so irritable and would just burst into tears for no reason. sleep became a luxury too, with my mind just racing at night, keeping me awake.

we tried going back to the smaller dose, but it didn't really help. i was still feeling sick and my mood swings were just too much to handle. it was affecting everything in my life, even my job.

so after a heartfelt discussion with my doctor, we decided to stop the ozempic altogether. it was a tough choice, especially since i had seen some positive changes initially.

now, i'm trying to rebuild my relationship with food from the ground up. it's not easy, but i'm determined to find a way to live healthier, without relying on medication. this experience taught me that there's no easy fix, and that i need to really listen to my body and take care of myself.

if you're thinking about trying ozempic, just be sure to talk to your doctor and keep a close eye on how your body responds. it's different for everyone, and what works for one person might not work for another.

take care, everyone.
